OLASE

The Latin American Observatory of Learning without Schools (OLASE, in Spanish) aims to become a space for collaborative documentation to facilitate understanding of the social phenomenon of “Learning without Schools” in different countries of Latin America.

We understand the notion of “Learning without Schools” as a meta-concept that encompasses a series of practices, concepts and signifiers such as: “unschooling”, “deschooling”, “education without school”, “homeschooling”, “home education”, “family education”, “flexischooling”, among others.

The Observatory aims to condense existing information, allowing access to a sort of “state of the art” in each country, legal situation, specific resources, external references and sources of information.

OLASE is a non-profit collective effort, the content is in Public Domain and the participation of all interested in the subject is encouraged. One of our priorities is the free access to information and the non-commercialization of knowledge.

This platform is a wiki, so you are invited to actively collaborate with content. To join, write to us at contacto@sinescuela.org
